Tale of Extremes

Nature showcases extremes in only ways that we can truly see its horrendous yet sometimes stunning effects. From very dry deserts to oversaturated water-logged jungles, nature offers the breath and beauty of each. Yet, living in either has consequences.

From flashfloods that wipe out entire areas where the land is so dry that none of the water can be absorbed and becomes a complete run off.

The jungle saturated with water turns growth into overload and intertwines vines, trees, and animals, making it hard to navigate and move through. With little sunlight coming through, other trees are a little drowned in the darkness that's underneath the canopy of growth.

While the desert teaches about the sacredness of water. Every drop of water becomes sacred. This becomes precision in the making.

In the jungle, the excess demands discernment. Too much growth leads to noise.

But nature always operates in oscillation. Nature self-corrects the instability of too little water or too much water. The oscillation effect allows the dynamic middle ground to come forth.

In your life, your relationships, or in your career, what's on either end of the extreme?

Someone who never expresses anger when violated or someone who always lashes out at the mildest of things can show the extremes in our lives. Take a good, hard look at whether it's emotions, what you tolerate, or even holding on to happy times so you can let more in.

It’s time to recognize your own rhythms and find the middle ground. The oscillation effect works to our benefit. Find the middle ground and commit to it.
