Ever afraid to have someone pull back the curtain and expose your naked truth?
Let’s get real for a minute. None of us is perfect. Not your kid. Not your mentor. Not your spiritual guru. At some point in adulthood, we acknowledge that our own "perfectionism" is less than stellar. Quite frankly, we are all perfectly imperfect.
There comes a time when, without our knowing and sometimes even consent, we are put on the spot. Our deepest secrets, our truths, are no longer behind a solid dark curtain.
Imagine an ocean wave. During a full moon, the pull from the moon on the water shifts and magnifies the tide cycle. Add in strong winds in the right direction, and everything changes.
Then, add in the Coriolis Effect, the deflection of water caused by the rotation of the Earth. Everything amplifies even more. When wind pushes surface water, it does not go straight. It bends. When tides shift, they don't rise and fall, they spiral!
The water recedes, not a few feet but several hundred feet. The length of a football field.
The retreat of water is not passive, its recalibration in motion.
The exposure of the sand exposes everything under the water. Trash, crab pots, dead fish.
Real revelation does not give a deadline. It just happens.
Whatever you've kept secret is ready to come out of hiding. Whatever you're avoiding will set you free?
A courageous conversation.
Declutter the closet full of clothes that no longer fit.
Starting a new exercise routine.
Meeting new people.
Changing jobs.
Most people think that if you pause, you'll lose momentum. Physics says otherwise.
The ocean doesn’t retreat randomly. It redistributes energy under gravitational and rotational forces before releasing power in a new direction.
As the wave that crashes on shore, it has been:
Shaped by lunar gravity
Redirected by Earth’s rotation
Accelerated by wind
Slowed by seafloor friction
By the time it lands, it has undergone multiple invisible corrections.
You can move forward and adjust. Retraction is not regression. Retraction is trajectory refinement. That's precision on demand.
This week's notice, what's revealed, ready to be seen, and what solutions come through insight rather than struggle.
The cycle closes and offers new directions.
