Are the waves of chaos and calm coming in too big or too fast? The waves are crashing at an accelerated rate.
Ever try surfing? It’s a mix of a strong core to jump quickly on a wobbly board on a non-solid surface - even more unsteadiness.
Before ever hitting the water, you practice jumping up into position. This made surfing so much easier. Use your gaze to see where the water is taking you, and not down where your feet are on the board. Look at a couple of feet ahead, not at the shoreline. Trust your feet.
Yes, trust. What a concept.
Then we hit the water. Our surfing guide taught us how to look at the waves. Then, paddle and jump.
First, wave. JUMP - OMG - I'm riding the wave in... Then, fell the next 15 times.
Whether beginner's luck or not, I was the only one who kept getting back in line for the next wave.
Courage is a skill that's cultivated. The only way to navigate is to get back up on the surfboard and go again. Each time I improved. Then, it became clear where to direct the board.
Our world is experiencing cosmic waves after another. From solar flares to flash floods to peaceful sunny days. We're set to expand big time.
As with anything new, it’s awkward at first, then we learn how to stabilize ourselves. We find our center, then point in the direction we want to go.
The first place to start is always with ourselves. How deep is our connection to ourselves? This allows us to calibrate our center. The deeper the connection, the more we can channel our own inner wisdom.
If you didn't receive the applause, accolades, or attention, what would you choose? Where would your heart lead and direct you to?
When you are present and open your connection to the flow, you navigate this new terrain with precision. This makes the decision easy and flawless. And, who doesn’t want more of that?
