The peculiar pelican tantalizes the eyes with precise movements and keen awareness. Perched high on a tree branch, the pelican eagerly scans the water below seeking its next meal. 

As if on a springboard, the pelican launches high into the sky. Its 10-foot wing span gracefully stretched out looking acutely at the sea below. Despite the cloudy murky water, the pelican’s subtle senses detect where the next fish roams. 

With keen awareness, in an Olympic diving fashion, the pelican tucks its wings, turns perpendicular to land, dives straight into the water, and grabs its fish. 

After digesting its delectable feast, the pelican with its keen senses soars high again scanning the water below.

As humans, our environmental clutter and inner chatter, weigh us down. Sifting through this debris takes more energy than we care to use. It makes us exhausted, and tired, and we want to take on less instead of more.  As we release what’s unnecessary, the excess weight allows us to reach for the stars and take on more of what’s possible. 

We navigate the murky water through our relentless ability to be in touch with our emotions. What feels good? Discerning these subtle senses, what’s our's vs what’s others takes great practice. As we harmonize our head and heart, we build incredible momentum that propels us forward, almost effortlessly.
