Finding Stability

Ever see leaves begin to brown on a plant from lack of water? What does your body feel like when you’re dehydrated? Chapped lips? Tight muscles? Dry mouth? Poor cognition.

Somehow drinking that simple glass of water quenches your thirst and brings everything back into stability and coherence.

It’s easy to plant seeds, come up with brilliant ideas, and even brainstorm how we can change the world. Yet, if these seeds are never planted in the ground, watered, nourished. The seeds simply remain seeds. The seeds stay in their cute little package waiting for one day to be planted in deep rich soil.

As we begin planting our seeds of brilliant ideas this spring, it's key to be intentional and committed to how these dreams are nourished. Thinking about our dreams does not bring them into reality. An acorn does not turn into a vibrant oak tree if it's not in the ground.

The seed of love, deep within our hearts must be nourished consistently.

What ways do you nourish yourself, that make you alive and fulfilled on the inside? Is it gardening? Is it eating a healthy meal? Is it a daily walk in the park? Is it deep profound conversations with others?

As we nourish our seeds and bring ourselves into harmony, we overflow and can contribute to the greater world we are meant to serve in. This, in turn, nourishes us all over again finding an equilibrium between giving and receiving.

It's time to reflect on where our commitments are. Do our daily actions reflect nourishing our dreams? If not, shift the space to align this.

What we nourish grows, anchoring a stable foundation for our highest values and dreams to flourish.
