Chile’s natural wonders typically include the lush Andes Mountains that run north and south. These giant mountains rival the great Rocky Mountains of North America in scale, wonder, and unreal beauty. Yet, the greatest gem and hidden secret lies in the far north.
The Atacama desert is one of the driest places on earth yet is a hop, skip, and a jump from a vastly different mountain terrain.
Ever think your own dreams are seemingly impossible? How can you put your own unique elements together in the right way and blossom to fruition?
Traveling through this dry, desolate landscape over a decade ago, all I could think of is we are screwed if we run out of gas. No water. No vegetation. An endless road that seemed to go nowhere. No gas stations. No food.
When we took a break from driving, we pulled off on the side of the road. We noticed extremely small plants that looked like weeds. Less than an inch high, it was difficult to decipher if it was a flowering plant, a weed, or what it was supposed to turn into.
Have you held on to dreams so tight that they never quite blossom? Your mind runs ragged on how to make it happen. You yearn to feel your soul come alive when the dreams start taking shape.
The desert is a harsh environment. Scorching sun and little shade can bring the healthiest plant to a screeching halt.
The plants there preserve their nutrients deep in the roots and soil, the same way we humans bury our dreams deep within our hearts. We wait for the right conditions to share what’s ready to change the world.
In Atacama, every five to seven years, a miracle happens. The right set of conditions melts all the constraints away. The clouds gather and release rain droplets blanketing the normal dry dirt.
Within a week, the desert, usually harsh dull colors turns into a vibrant sea of pink, purple, and white tickling the eyes with sheer beauty.
Where can you disconnect from the harshness of society and the world and connect back to your heart? The deep roots of your dreams are ready for the right conditions to showcase a beautiful path forward.
Where can you release deep-seated patterns of drought? Health, relationships, finances? A new reality and rain storm is coming in to sweep you in the right direction.
