An Uneven Step

Ever get in a groove as if gently flowing down a river, then all of a sudden, a rock beneath the surface rattles you and almost flips you out of your happy place? Then the next rock hits, then the next.

Stunned and shocked, you wondered what had just happened.

As the world changes, even our basic routines require adjustment. What was once relaxing and peaceful may show us the work we are avoiding. If we are moving and doing constantly, we may recognize that a day off or even a vacation is in order.

The biggest relationship you have in your entire life is, drum roll please, YOURSELF.

If you're entire life revolves around your kids and work, you probably forgot what makes you come alive. When was the last time you scheduled a playdate with yourself?

If you prefer peace and quiet, are you unwilling to do the deep work to move your dreams ahead? What's one activity that will be a game-changer for the rest of the year?

The ebb and flow of a river constantly changes with the season. Notice when life and business feel a bit off. Adjust your bearings to what truly brings you alive and promotes your own well-being.
