Spring Cleaning

As more sun rays penetrate the soil, spring rains bring nourishment to the seed buried deep below. The seed’s outer shell stiff and strong slowly take shape. Suddenly, when the right combination of nutrients hits, the seeds soften.

As the sun continues to soften and nurture the metamorphosis evolves fast.

The connection between the seed and the sun reflects the relationship between our heads and hearts.

Our hearts, the seeds, become hard, stubborn, and even stiff during the winter. Whether it's anger, disappointment, or uncertainty, the seeds must shed their hardened shell to grow. Hard hearts make relationships difficult. Then, frustration develops, doubts hit out of nowhere, and we question our motives.

Breaking down barriers requires the release and acknowledgment of past hurts.

Feeling the deep pain brings a vibrant power forward that breaks the hard, stiff shell. Pain is our guide, whether it's to slow down, notice something, or observe behaviors that can no longer be tolerated by ourselves or others.

Soften your heart, lean into your innate wisdom, and watch your seeds grow feverishly.
